Installation of a bag making machine is a critical phase that requires careful site preparation, rigging, and utility connection. The floor is marked with the machine's footprint and anchor bolt positions based on the supplier's foundation drawing. The area should have adequate lighting and ventilation. The utility connections are prepared: electrical supply (voltage, phase, frequency) with a dedicated circuit breaker and a disconnect switch; compressed air (6-8 bar, with filter and regulator); cooling water (if required) with proper flow rate and temperature; and a drainage system for any condensation. The utility points are marked and tested before the machine arrives. The machine is then rigged: a crane or forklift with sufficient capacity (usually 5-10 tons) is used to lift the machine off the transport truck. The lifting slings are attached to the machine's designated lifting points (marked with labels). The machine is carefully guided into the installation area, avoiding any obstacles.
